Back to Congo

Jerry and I headed back to East Congo to celebrate a belated Christmas with Rebecca and the kids and check on the construction of the new security wall. We delivered food, and supplies and some much needed cash as well as gifts for the kids. This area is still under M23 rebel control. No Congolese govt involvement. Jobs are more scarce than ever and uncertainty is the certainty. Food costs have skyrocketed as well making like more difficult than ever for Rebecca and the children.
